After the Community Leadership Summit and the Free / Libre Open Source Community metrics meeting, OSCON was the last event in Portland where we had the chance to show the kind of things we do at Bitergia.
Jesús, one of Bitergia’s founders, was one of the speakers in the Open Cloud Day. His presentation is already available:

The talks in OSCON are amazing, but not only the regular ones, where you sit down and listen to great speakers talking, but the one on one with the speakers. You can even chat with them, sharing your thoughts about community activity metrics with people like James Pearce (an old friend from W3C Mobile Web Initiative) or Chris Aniszczyk, from Facebook and Twitter respectively.
But despite the talks, OSCON is one of the greatest Open Source industry events, and you can see the whole ecosystem around Open Source there. Companies like Microsoft or Red Hat co-sponsor the event, and their booths are just some steps one from each other, with no worries. So, OSCON is the “must to be” Open Source event.
And of course, there are Voodoo Doughnuts… What else do you need to convince you to go to Portland?
